Merchandise Process Supervisor

Job Summary:
Talize is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Merchandise Process Supervisor to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily activities of the Merchandise Processing Team, ensuring that merchandise is processed and prepared for sale in a timely and efficient manner.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership and Team Management: Provide guidance and support to the Merchandise Processing Team, ensuring that they have the necessary resources and training to perform their duties effectively.
- Inventory Management: Oversee the receipt, inspection, grading, and pricing of merchandise, ensuring that inventory levels are accurate and up-to-date.
- Quality Control: Conduct regular quality control checks to ensure that merchandise meets company standards.
- Employee Relations: Foster a positive and inclusive work environment, providing support and guidance to team members as needed.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that the workplace is safe and healthy, identifying and reporting any hazards or incidents.
- Departmental Responsibilities: Coordinate and assist with the sorting, inspecting, grading, pricing, rolling, and ragging of merchandise.
- Other Duties: Perform additional job-related duties as requested by the Merchandise Processing Manager or General Manager.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2+ years of experience working in a retail warehouse environment, with 1+ years of supervisory experience in a high-volume, fast-paced environment.
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Physical Requirements: Ability to stand and walk for the duration of shift, with constant bending, reaching, and using hands for repetitive actions.
Work Environment:
- Exposure to dust throughout the shift.
- Exposure to periodic temperature fluctuations and noise levels.
- Work schedule hours will include days, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
