Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Warehouse Supervisor to join our team at DHAYOR AFRICAN, CARIBBEAN GROCERIES AND MERCHANDISE. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our warehouse, ensuring efficient inventory management, and maintaining a safe and productive work environment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inventory Management: Coordinate and implement inventory control procedures to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of stock levels.
  • Warehouse Operations: Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, ensuring timely and efficient processing of orders and shipments.
  • Logistics and Transportation: Arrange for maintenance and repair of equipment, and coordinate with external vendors for transportation and logistics services.
  • Staff Management: Recruit, train, and evaluate warehouse staff, providing guidance and support to ensure they meet performance expectations.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular inspections to ensure compliance with quality and safety standards.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare and submit regular reports on warehouse operations, inventory levels, and staff performance.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and communication skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and attention to detail.
Work Environment

The successful candidate will work in a fast-paced warehouse environment, handling heavy loads and working under pressure to meet tight deadlines.
