Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Coordinator to join our team at RailWorks Corporation. This role will provide administrative support to our operations team, ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Administrative Support
    • Provide general office support, including answering phones, taking messages, and greeting visitors.
    • Perform administrative and clerical duties, such as opening and sorting mail, preparing courier, and maintaining office supplies.
    • Manage spreadsheets and databases, photocopying, filing, and maintaining records.
  • Asset Management
    • Order, track, and manage assets such as iPhones and iPads.
    • Manage Bell Mobility bill and office phone list.
  • Event Planning
    • Organize annual golf tournament and holiday party for all Ontario divisions, including budget planning and event management.
  • Communication and Marketing
    • Manage Facebook page and write newsletter.
    • Manage print jobs and business card orders.
  • Special Projects
    • Assist in special projects as required and perform other related duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Education
    • High School Graduation supplemented by completion of a post-secondary program in Business Administration.
  • Experience
    • A minimum of two (2) years of recent related office and accounting experience.
    • Experience in the construction industry or project-based environment is preferred.
  • Skills
    • Proficiency in the use of software applications such as MS Office; SharePoint; and websites.
    • Demonstrated ability to multi-task, organize work, prioritize, and work to deadlines.
    • Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information and to perform with a high level of professionalism and integrity.
