Food Service Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of food service staff, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to maintain a safe and healthy work environment.
- Hire and manage food service staff, including conducting performance evaluations and providing feedback.
- Food Quality and Safety
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, adhering to health and safety regulations.
- Monitor and maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to optimize inventory management.
- Customer Service
- Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
- Ensure that customers receive exceptional service, responding to their needs and preferences.
- Administrative Tasks
- Prepare and submit reports on food service operations, including sales, inventory, and customer feedback.
- Maintain accurate records of staff attendance, performance, and training.
- Education
- Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
- Experience
- 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service supervisory role.
- Skills
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures.
