About the Role

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our Mental Health team at Allina Health. As a RN Mental Health Professional, you will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care in a fast-paced outpatient clinic setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collect and prioritize comprehensive data pertinent to the patient's health or situation, synthesizing information from various sources to identify needs, patterns, and variances.
  • Analyze assessment data to determine nursing diagnoses, interpreting assessment information to identify each patient's needs relative to age, developmental stage, and culture.
  • Develop a plan that prescribes interventions to attain expected outcomes, considering patient characteristics, current statutes, rules, and regulations.
  • Implement the identified plan, utilizing evidence-based interventions and treatments specific to the diagnoses, and coordinating implementation of the plan of care as needed.
  • Evaluate the patient's progress towards attainment of the outcome, revising diagnoses, outcomes, and the plan of care as necessary.

Requirements

  • Associate's or Vocational degree graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
  • Licensed Registered Nurse - MN Board of Nursing required if working in the state of MN upon hire.
  • BLS Tier 1 - Basic Life Support - Multisource required per American Heart Association guidelines within 30 Days.
  • 0 to 2 years RN experience, with preference for 0 to 2 years specialty experience.
