Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Mental Health Specialist to join our team at Alberta Health Services.

About the Role

As a Mental Health Specialist, you will be part of an inter-disciplinary team providing a range of social work services to patients and their families.

Your key responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting psychosocial assessments to identify patient needs and develop personalized care plans.
  • Providing resource-based interventions to support patients and their families.
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A bachelor's degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Active or eligible registration with the Alberta College of Social Workers (ACSW).
  • Previous experience working in mental health, preferably in acute care settings.
