Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Support Specialist to join our team at PeopleToGo. As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients, ensuring their IT needs are met with efficiency and expertise.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Hardware Deployment: Perform intermediate IMAC activities, including hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and other deployment-related tasks on PCs, laptops, printers, and POS devices.
  • Software Support: Handle software installation, support, and upgrades to ensure seamless operation.
  • Deskside Support: Provide expert technical assistance with hardware, software, and network-related issues, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum productivity.
  • Help Desk Support: Offer first-level support to clients, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Network Support: Perform basic LAN and internetworking activities to ensure stable and secure network operations.
  • Bench Repairs: Handle depot service and remedial maintenance tasks to keep equipment in top working condition.
  • Call Management: Respond to, update, and close calls from our National Dispatch/Call Management Center.
  • Customer Communication: Effectively communicate with clients to diagnose issues, establish ETAs, and determine parts requirements.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 1-2 years of field service experience in hardware roll-outs, refreshes, and deployment-related activities.
  • Skills: Strong internetworking and troubleshooting skills, with A+ certification and potential vendor certifications from Cisco, Microsoft, and OEMs.
  • Personal Qualities: Self-motivated, able to manage multiple tasks, and possess exceptional customer service skills, good communication skills, and the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
  • Education: Minimum of a Diploma from a recognized IT program.
