Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Automation Project Lead to oversee and manage ongoing WEG Automation projects in Toronto, ON. This role involves technical project management, project execution, and ensuring customer satisfaction through efficient and timely delivery.

About the Role
  • This position will lead end-to-end management of WEG Automation projects, ensuring alignment with business objectives.
  • The ideal candidate will combine strong project management skills with hands-on experience in industrial automation, exceptional organizational abilities, and the ability to thrive under pressure.
Main ResponsibilitiesProject Management
  • Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for all project-related communication.
Hands-On Contribution
  • Actively participate in the development, implementation, and deployment of automation solutions.
  • Collaborate with the technical team to manage ongoing projects and ensure the successful deployment of applications.
Stakeholder Communication
  • Prepare and present regular progress reports to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Manage stakeholder expectations through transparent and proactive communication.
Requirements
  • Minimum post-secondary education.
  • At least 4 years of project management experience in industrial automation.
  • Proficiency in MS Project (or similar software), Microsoft Office, and AutoCAD.
  • Experience with industrial communication protocols.
  • Strong organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively under the pressure of tight deadlines.
Estimated Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
