The Investment Management Office is part of the Global Investments and Growth Function in the Office of the Global COO. The role of the Investment Management Office (IMO) is to work closely with the Investment Owners, and their leadership teams globally, to ensure all the designated portfolio investments meet the strategic investment goals and business case ROIs.

**The Opportunity**

The IMO Automation Lead will contribute to the effectiveness of the IMO by automating data management across various sources, processes and formats, leveraging O365 and Microsoft Power Platform including PowerApps and Power Automate and integrating with existing solutions and processes as required.

As a member of the Performance Insights team, the IMO Automation Lead is responsible for the evaluation, configuration, testing, implementation, and support of low code automation solutions.

This role is a hands-on, working management position - expected to help define requirements, manage projects, perform development and integration work, and oversee projects/tasks assigned to members of the team, including contractors and third-party suppliers as needed.

What you will do:
**Solution Development**
- Design, develop and implement automated data management solutions to meet business needs, incorporating data collection, processing, validation, and storage, leveraging “No-Code / Low-Code” development where applicable.
- Lead discovery workshops and requirements gathering sessions.
- Lead architecture, design and development of data models and solutions.
- Prepare high level technical specifications for the solutions.
- Lead day-to-day solution development activities, including work provided by third parties (e.g. KGS, KDN, IT), and ensure delivery commitments and timelines are adhered to.
- Perform solution reviews & ensure quality of the overall delivery. Test and debug solutions to ensure quality and functionality.

**Solution Operations & Support**
- Manage ongoing support and maintenance of solutions.
- Minimize manual involvement by implementing continuous improvements that create an operating solution, including development of new tools and dynamically monitoring, allowing for automated responses before critical failures.

**Resource Management / Performance Management**
- Build and manage relationships with third-party providers to augment the teams resource pool.

What you bring to this role:

- University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent work experience required.
- Hands-on experience in custom-built software development using a low-code platform.
- High level of experience using Microsoft tools - Power Platform (PowerApps; Power Automate), SharePoint Framework, Azure, PowerBI, and MS Teams.
- Experience in a business/process analysis or software development business requirements’ role, with experience leading a Software Team of Developers and Testers.
- Experience in requirements gathering and process mapping.
- Knowledge of system modelling processes and tools.
- Knowledge of system DevOps.
- Understanding of web technologies, including HTML, CSS, JavaScript.
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workload.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
