Hotel Operations Coordinator

- **Education Requirements:** Secondary (high) school graduation certificate is required for this position.
- **Experience:** 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a customer service or hospitality role is preferred.
- Work Setting
- Our hotel, Best Western Plus Mirage Hotel & Resort, is a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will be working with a team to provide exceptional customer service to our guests.
- Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless service delivery.
- Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations.
- Perform same duties as workers supervised and provide guidance and support as needed.
- Prepare and submit reports to management to track performance and identify areas for improvement.
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality.
- Assist guests with special needs and provide a welcoming and inclusive environment.
- Coordinate, assign, and review work to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
- Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies to ensure a high-performing team.
- Maintain the operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery, and arrange for repairs to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
- Requisition materials and supplies to ensure the hotel has the necessary resources to operate effectively.
- Support for Diversity and Inclusion
- Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for persons with disabilities, newcomers and refugees, youth, veterans, Indigenous people, and visible minorities.
- Work Terms
- This is a permanent position with a 30 to 44 hour work week.
- The work language is English.
