Job Summary

We are seeking an experienced Sales Director for Guaranteed Savings Solutions to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for promoting our range of guaranteed investment products using a solutions-based sales approach.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Achieve ambitious sales targets by identifying opportunities and building strong relationships with financial advisors and other stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with the internal sales team to promote new sales and develop strategies to expand existing relationships.
  • Develop professional relationships with other Manulife partners in the field and maintain open communication channels.
  • Regularly meet with regional advisors to discuss progress, provide support, and identify areas for growth.
  • Develop and share sales, marketing, and business expansion strategies and best practices with the team.
  • Proactively manage relationships with key advisors and intermediaries, providing training and support as needed.
  • Resolve issues that may arise with intermediaries and individuals in the region in a timely and effective manner.
  • Implement business expansion plans, organize meetings and dynamic sales seminars to drive growth.
Requirements:
  • Three years of experience in selling investment products with in-depth knowledge of the financial services industry and capital markets.
  • Participation in the sale of guaranteed investment products through entities such as MFDA and IIROC, broker-dealer network, or banks.
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned regions or territories.
  • Completion of the Investment Funds in Canada course from the Canadian Securities Institute or the Canadian Securities Course (CSC).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Fully bilingual (French and English) to effectively communicate with clients from various provinces outside Quebec.
  • In-depth knowledge of segregated funds, guaranteed interest accounts, and annuities.
  • Entrepreneurial spirit and excellent organizational skills.
  • Proven abilities in decision making, project planning, creative thinking, interpersonal relations, conflict resolution, facilitation, presentation, computer skills, and influencing and negotiation.
Salary & Benefits

The estimated salary for this position is $80,000-$120,000 per year, depending on local market conditions, geography, and relevant job-related factors such as knowledge, skills, qualifications, experience, and education/training. Eligible employees can also participate in incentive programs and earn bonus compensation tied to business and individual performance.
