Restaurant Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Supervisor to join our team at Udupi Madras Cafe Inc. As a key member of our food services team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our restaurant, ensuring exceptional customer service, and maintaining a high level of food quality and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Leadership and Supervision
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
- Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
- Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
- Customer Service
- Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
- Address customers' complaints or concerns
- Administrative Tasks
- Prepare budget and cost estimates
- Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
- Prepare and submit reports
Our restaurant operates in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines. As a Restaurant Supervisor, you will be required to stand for extended periods and work a 40-hour week.
Requirements- College/CEGEP education
- 1-2 years of experience in a similar role
- Excellent leadership and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
