Job Summary:

The Business Development Representative at NFI Industries is responsible for building market position by locating, developing, defining, negotiating, and closing business relationships. This role will report to the Vice President of Intermodal Sales.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop a strong understanding of the NFI Intermodal Operation and Pricing Team's processes and procedures.
  • Network internally and externally to identify opportunities for growth and improvement.
  • Utilize a consultative approach to engage with customers and understand their supply chain needs.
  • Effectively communicate with customers and internal stakeholders to manage expectations and drive results.
  • Achieve and exceed revenue goals by developing a strong pipeline and closing new business opportunities.
  • Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices through ongoing training and education.
Requirements:
  • Two or four-year degree preferred.
  • At least two years of sales or industry experience.
  • Excellent analytical and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong negotiation and closing skills.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications.
  • Ability to work in a team environment and be self-motivated.
