National Practice Leader, Contract Surety Expert

Aon is seeking a seasoned Contract Surety professional to lead our national construction risk management team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing and growing our Contract Surety portfolio, leveraging your expertise to deliver exceptional results for our clients.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute national business development strategies to cultivate revenue generation opportunities
- Build and maintain strong relationships with underwriting communities to drive client success
- Provide leadership and guidance to colleagues across Aon offices and practice groups
- Identify and develop innovative solutions to meet client needs and drive business growth
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver exceptional client experiences
- Minimum 10-15 years of progressive experience in Contract Surety, with a strong understanding of the Canadian construction industry
- Proven business development track record and exceptional interpersonal and relationship-building skills
- Entrepreneurial mindset and ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to mentor and manage colleagues
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and prioritize competing requirements and deadlines
