Job Description

Guraya Law Professional Corporation seeks an organized and detail-oriented Legal Administrative Assistant to join our team. In this role, you will provide administrative support to our lawyers and staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our law office.

Responsibilities
  • Schedule and confirm appointments with clients, lawyers, and other stakeholders.
  • Maintain a filing system to keep track of important documents and records.
  • Record and prepare minutes of court sessions, meetings, and conferences.
  • Determine and establish office procedures to ensure efficient workflows.
  • Arrange travel and itineraries for lawyers and staff.
  • Prepare financial statements and reports as needed.
  • Prepare and key in correspondence and legal documents.
  • Review and proofread documents to ensure accuracy and compliance with legal procedures.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
  • 1-2 years of experience in a legal administrative role.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other relevant software.
Work Environment
  • Work under pressure with tight deadlines.
  • Fast-paced environment with a large caseload.
