About the Opportunity:
We are seeking an accomplished academic psychiatrist to lead our mental health department as a Department Head and Professor. This is a unique opportunity to build and sustain a strong foundation that supports the delivery of high-quality patient care, education, and research in mental health.
Key Responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of patient care, teaching, and research in the mental health program. They will work within our Program Matrix model, providing leadership in concert with a Clinical Vice President, as well as other Program Medical Directors and Clinical Directors.
The candidate will have primary responsibility for quality and safety in the centre for mental health and dyadic responsibility with the Clinical Vice-President/Clinical Director for finances and clinical operations.

About You:
We seek an accomplished academic psychiatrist with demonstrated success leading in a complex academic health sciences centre. The successful candidate must possess MD and FRCPC or equivalent qualifications, and have, or be eligible for, licensure in Ontario.
As the ideal candidate, you will be committed to advancing clinical care, research, and education in mental health at a very high international standard, commensurate with UHN and CAMH's ranking and reputation as global leaders.
Estimated Salary Range:
$200,000 - $300,000 per annum, depending on experience and qualifications.
