About the Role:

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking an outstanding early career scientist with expertise in preclinical or translational neuroscience, or both, with a focus on women's mental health. As a Scientist, you will develop and carry out a sustained and consistent program of research, overseeing and leading all aspects of research projects.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Securing and managing extramural funding sources for research activities
  • Maintaining consistent research outputs, including publications as first/senior author
  • Disseminating research results through presentations at academic meetings and conferences
  • Establishing local, national, and international collaborations
  • Providing supervision of undergraduate, graduate, post-doctoral trainees, and technical staff
