Sodexo Energy & Resources is a leading provider of facilities management services to major oil and gas companies. As a Senior Facilities Operations Leader, you will be responsible for managing the daily operations of our facilities in Richmond, California.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced leader with a strong technical background in facilities management to oversee our operations at both the administrative (technology center) and industrial locations (refinery). The ideal candidate will have 5+ years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a refinery or industrial setting.

The Senior Facilities Operations Leader will be responsible for:

  • Managing a team of 130 frontline employees and 5-6 direct reports
  • Leveraging technical expertise to enhance existing client programs, including short- and long-range planning, construction/renovation projects, preventative and corrective maintenance, energy management, grounds and landscaping, janitorial, mail room operations, shipping and receiving, laboratory services, and data center management services
  • Developing business plans and budgets to support system goals
  • Reviewing and analyzing financial statements data and other financial information to ensure attainment of financial goals for both the client and Sodexo
Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $150,000 per yearBenefits

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you must have:

  • A bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in facilities management, preferably in a refinery or industrial setting
  • Strong technical knowledge of building automation systems, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, HVAC, structural, safety systems, architectural, landscape, and energy management
  • Demonstrated business and financial acumen in utilizing and managing contract financials
  • High level of self-awareness, maturity, and ambition to grow the business with laser focus on employees and clients
