Civil Estimating Leader

You are invited to apply for a challenging role as a Civil Estimating Leader at EllisDon, where you will be responsible for leading a team through the completion of bid processes for infrastructure projects such as bridge works, roads, water treatment plants, and concrete, as well as assisting with the bid process of civil scopes on buildings projects.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of unit rate bid processes and software, and will be able to organize and bid-level sub-contractor quotes when the bid is successful. They will also be responsible for completing project-specific general accounts for various project types and complexities, and for pricing out various projects based on previous historical rates and productivity.
The successful candidate will have a working knowledge of corporate objectives impacting estimating, estimating strategies and techniques, and construction contracts. They will also have experience with estimating in P3, Design Build, Design Build Facilities Management, Lump Sum, and Construction Management contracts, as well as experience with bridges, roadways, and water/wastewater treatment plants.

Requirements:To be successful in this role, you will need to have a construction-related degree or diploma, and a minimum of 10 years of civil estimating experience or an equivalent combination of technical training and experience. You will also need to have a strong understanding of unit rate bid processes and software, and experience with estimating in P3, Design Build, Design Build Facilities Management, Lump Sum, and Construction Management contracts.
