Job Description

The Payroll and Employee Relations Coordinator will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our payroll processes and employee relations. This includes:

  • Processing bi-weekly payroll in compliance with provincial and federal regulations
  • Auditing daily timecards to ensure accurate hours allocation
  • Coordinating with management to resolve discrepancies and implement adjustments as needed
  • Administering vacation pay and overtime in accordance with company policies

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in payroll processing and employee relations, with excellent communication and analytical skills. Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A post-secondary degree or diploma in Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Minimum 2 years of full-cycle payroll processing experience
  • Previous experience in the construction industry
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Viewpoint (or similar payroll software)
