About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Development Manager to join our North American sales team in Canada. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building and managing your book of business, leveraging solution-selling tactics and supporting long-term strategic customer relationships.

Job Description

Key responsibilities include:

  • Initiating prospecting and lead generation activities with businesses and organizations
  • Assisting customers with registration and presenting registered customers with Amazon Business account tours
  • Meeting or exceeding targets for customer acquisition and customer spend adoption
  • Educating and networking with key prospect and customer contacts
  • Relaying market needs and requirements back to internal Amazon teams, including Product Management, Technical and Category Management teams
  • Driving customer satisfaction
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent, or 3+ years of sales or marketing work (e.g., e-commerce, retail technology, SaaS)
  • Bilingual proficiency (French and English) is required
  • 2+ years of inside sales experience
  • Knowledge of procurement and source-to-pay methods at small and medium businesses
  • Experience influencing at all levels within an organization, particularly at the executive level
  • Experience exceeding sales targets using a consultative, solutions-focused approach
Estimated Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 per year
