Associate Director, Inspections

Accoravillage is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to join our team as an Associate Director, Inspections. This role is a key part of our organization's mission to promote audit quality and investor protection.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct inspections of audit firms to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry standards.
- Maintain control of assigned inspection work, including meeting deadlines and conducting inspections in an efficient and effective manner.
- Foster professional, productive, and respectful working relationships with colleagues, firms, and other external stakeholders.
- Prepare high-quality written reports and participate in inspection projects aimed at enhancing the effectiveness of our inspection processes.
- Support stakeholder engagement and thought leadership initiatives.
- A minimum of 7 years progressive public company accounting and audit experience at a Big Four or other national accounting firm.
- CPA designation is required.
- In-depth knowledge of IFRS and Canadian Auditing Standards; US GAAP is also an asset.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work independently and as a member of a team.
- Ability to travel, approximately up to 6 weeks per year.
