The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead the Nursing Innovation Program. This is a full-time, permanent position that will play a critical role in driving the development and execution of strategies that support the advancement of nursing initiatives.
Key Responsibilities- Provide leadership in the development and execution of strategies that drive the programming and coordination of activities related to the Nursing New Graduate Initiative, Clinical Extern program, Clinical Scholar program, and other nursing initiatives.
- Collaborate with clinical programs, Professional Practice Office, and other relevant stakeholders to lead the Nursing New Graduate residency program, Clinical Extern program, and Clinical Scholar program.
- Support the advancement of all Ministry-funded nursing initiatives and facilitate ongoing communication and collaboration among all supported programs, clinical programs, and key internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide leadership and coordination activities to nurse educators and contribute to the development of training programs and policies/procedures tailored to program needs.
- Act as a change agent by engaging with internal and external stakeholders to effectively implement necessary programs and contribute to the development of training programs and policies/procedures tailored to program needs.
- A bachelor's degree in nursing, with a master's degree in Nursing or Health Administration preferred.
- 1-3 years of management experience (project management and/or people management) is required, with experience in mental health and addictions services and third-party clinical service provision an asset.
- Strong negotiation, relationship building, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic team environment with internal and external partners.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills, with good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
- Bilingualism (English/French) is considered an asset.
