Job Summary

The Centre for Addiction and Mental Health (CAMH) is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Program Manager to lead the Nursing Innovation Program. This is a full-time, permanent position that will play a critical role in driving the development and execution of strategies that support the advancement of Ministry-funded Nursing initiatives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide leadership in the development and execution of strategies that drive the programming and coordination of activities related to the New Graduate Nurses (NGGs), Clinical Externs, Internationally Educated Nurses (IENs), and Clinical Scholars program.
  • Collaborate with clinical programs, Professional and Education (P&E), and other relevant stakeholders to lead the NGG residency program, the clinical extern, the IEN, and Clinical Scholars Program.
  • Support the advancement of all Ministry-funded Nursing initiatives and facilitate ongoing communication and collaboration among all supported programs, clinical programs, and key internal and external stakeholders.
  • Provide leadership and coordination activities to nurse educators and act as a change agent by engaging with internal and external stakeholders to effectively implement necessary programs.
  • Play a key leadership role in cross-organizational collaborations and work closely with teams to support the onboarding of new staff members.
Requirements
  • A bachelor's degree in nursing, with a master's degree in Nursing or Health Administration being preferred.
  • 1-3 years of management experience, with project management and/or people management experience being required.
  • Experience with mental health and addictions services is required, with previous experience in third-party clinical service provision being an asset.
  • Strong negotiation, relationship building, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a dynamic team environment with internal and external partners.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills, with good computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint).
