About this Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to provide critical support to our graduate students. As a Graduate Support Specialist, you will be responsible for coordinating various student services, responding to inquiries, and maintaining accurate records.

The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, and be able to effectively interact with students, faculty, and staff from diverse backgrounds. You will also have strong problem-solving skills, ability to work in a fast-paced environment, and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide detailed information on program requirements and course details to graduate students
  • Respond to inquiries and redirect as necessary while maintaining a professional demeanor
  • Maintain accurate records of student information and course details
  • Coordinate scheduling of examinations and maintain program lists
  • Prepare routine communications to students and disseminate information through various channels

Qualifications:

  • Advanced College Diploma (3 years) or acceptable combination of equivalent experience
  • Preferably two years of recent and relevant experience in student services and program support in an academic setting
  • Experience providing front-line student services and detailed information on programs of study and related information
