Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Registered Practical Nurse (RPN) to join our interprofessional team in supporting contraceptive and sexual health care services. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing sensitive, professional, and gender-affirming care to patients, while working collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Assess and support patients with family planning, STI screening, cancer screening, and minor procedures">
  • Provide venipuncture and injections as required">
  • Review and prioritize lab results">
  • Support patients without family doctors to access primary care">
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including medical records, invoicing, and supplies ordering">
  • Liaise with other care team members and partners to provide patient-centered care">

Requirements and Qualifications

">

To be considered for this role, candidates must have a Registered Practical Nurse diploma and membership in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Three to five years of nursing experience in a community setting or a combination of community, hospital, or public health settings is preferred. Primary care experience is also an asset.
