Job Overview

Amazon is seeking an experienced Health and Wellness Specialist to join our Workplace Health & Safety (WHS) team. In this role, you will play a critical part in promoting the health and wellbeing of our workforce.

Responsibilities:
  • First Aid Support: Provide immediate first aid assistance to associates with injuries or illnesses, referring care to outside medical providers as necessary.
  • Risk Mitigation: Minimize the risk of injury through awareness, education, and proactive engagement with associates.
  • Record Keeping: Maintain accurate records of care provided to associates.
  • Return to Work Program: Coordinate and maintain workers' compensation and return-to-work programs for associates with work-related injuries.
  • Daily Reports: Submit daily activity logs and end-of-shift reports.
Requirements:
  • Certifications: Possess valid certifications in standard first aid, CPR/AED level A or C, and have experience as a Military Medical Technician, Primary Care Paramedic, Registered Practical Nurse, or equivalent.
  • Experience: Have at least six months of job experience in a related field, such as workers' compensation, industrial wellness programs, or ergonomics.
  • Skills: Be proficient in Microsoft Office, digital recordkeeping, and have excellent communication and coaching skills.
Salary:

$65,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on location and experience.
