Job Summary

The Government of Nunavut is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Junior Wellness Program Officer. This position will play a critical role in supporting the success of community-based health programs and special projects within the Community Wellness Programs section.

In this role, you will contribute to the planning, development, and delivery of projects undertaken by the section. You will also provide logistical and program support to the Manager and other members within the Community Wellness Programs.

The ideal candidate will possess a recognized High School Diploma and two years of program administrative experience preferably in an office setting. Knowledge of Inuit communities, culture, land, Inuit Qaujimajatuqangit, Inuktut, and experience working in a northern cross-cultural environment are considered assets.

This position requires the ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
