Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Executive Chef Assistant to join our team at the Silver Hotel Group. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in leading the daily operations of the kitchen, ensuring the highest standards of quality and service are maintained.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in leading the kitchen team to ensure seamless service and high-quality food production.
  • Coordinate daily kitchen operations to ensure efficient service and meet production standards.
  • Monitor and maintain kitchen equipment, utensils, and supplies to ensure they are in good working condition.
  • Assist with menu planning and preparation to ensure dishes are prepared to the highest standards.
  • Train and develop kitchen staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties effectively.
  • Maintain a clean and safe working environment to ensure the health and safety of staff and guests.
  • Assist with inventory management to ensure that ingredients and supplies are ordered and stocked as needed.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless service and high-quality food production.
Requirements
  • Minimum 5 years of kitchen experience in a similar role.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills to effectively lead and motivate the kitchen team.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain composure under pressure.
  • Knowledge of food safety and sanitation procedures to ensure a clean and safe working environment.
  • Ability to lift up to 40 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
