Position Details
Nason Contracting Group Ltd. is seeking Flagger Labourers for work at our MNP Sports Centre project in Calgary. This position involves direct traffic control through construction zones using hand signals or a Stop/Slow paddle.
- Estimated Salary: $35-$45 per hour
- Location: Calgary, AB
- Schedule: Monday - Friday
Job Description
This role requires communication with construction crews and the public to provide traffic control updates. You will follow traffic control plans, ensure the safety of drivers, pedestrians, and workers on site, and set up and tear down barricades and signs.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Flagger is required
- Valid Traffic Control Person (TCP) certificate
- CSTS-20
- WHMIS 2015
- Excellent verbal communication skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods of time
- Ability to work outdoors in all weather conditions
- Ability to understand and execute oral and written instructions
