We offer Landscape Construction and Landscape Maintenance - creating and maintaining meaningful spaces such as parks, playgrounds, and restoration projects. In the winter we continue to support communities by offering Snow Removal services. Are you ambitious and eager to make your mark as part of our team as a **Water Truck Driver**? This is a fantastic opportunity to join a family-oriented company that is ever-growing. This position is located in Calgary and the surrounding areas.

This role requires the operation of tandem trucks with a Class 1 or 3 license.

**Specific Duties Include (but are not limited to)**:

- Work with the logistics manager to deliver water in a safe and timely manner around the Calgary region
- Deliver water to sites to minimize the amount of dust
- Secure loads and equipment to DOT standards
- Document, track, and manage timesheets and materials
- Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection of vehicle systems, equipment and accessories such as tires, lights and turning signals and brakes
- Plan routes and meet delivery schedules
- Communicate with the Construction Manager and Foremen to minimize confusion and wasted trips and mix-ups
- Follow and document safety procedures
- Follow traffic laws
- Report mechanical problems to maintenance personnel
- Keep commercial drivers license up to date
- May perform emergency roadside repairs
- Client and quality focused
- Work efficiently without supervision
- Report any vehicle accidents immediately to the Construction Manager and also to the Police if it is serious
- Maintain cleanliness of trucks, both cab and exterior

**Requirements**:

- Effective communication skills (both verbal and digital)
- Time management skills
- An outstanding driving record without accidents or major traffic violations
- Ability to bend, stoop, squat, stand and walk for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift 50 lbs.
- Able to work for long hours (between 8 & 12)
- Able to adapt to a changing schedule
- Class 3 License or Class 1 (3 Years driving experience required)
- Knowledge of the Calgary area and navigating with GPS
- Minimum of 2 - 4 years of water truck experience with plant and sod watering knowledge would be an asset
- Formal education and certifications are an asset

Regular full time shifts are Monday to Friday. Compensation will be based on experience. We look forward to hearing from you
