Restaurant Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Restaurant Manager to join our team at Tomo Restaurant. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our restaurant, ensuring that we maintain the highest standards of quality, service, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Service Development: Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to ensure seamless execution.
- Financial Management: Balance cash and complete balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms to maintain accurate financial records.
- Inventory Management: Cost products and services, and organize and maintain inventory to optimize stock levels and minimize waste.
- Health and Safety: Ensure that all health and safety regulations are followed, and that our restaurant maintains a clean and safe environment for our customers and staff.
- Supply Chain Management: Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies to ensure the best possible prices and quality.
- Marketing and Promotion: Participate in marketing plans and implementation to promote our restaurant and attract new customers.
- Leadership and Training: Lead and instruct individuals to ensure that they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties effectively.
- Customer Service: Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, and provide excellent customer service to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Operational Planning: Plan, organize, direct, control, and evaluate daily operations to ensure that our restaurant runs smoothly and efficiently.
- Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years.
- Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 35 hours per week.
- Client Focus: Strong ability to focus on customer needs and provide excellent service.
- Dependability: Reliable and dependable, with a strong work ethic.
- Interpersonal Skills: Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff and customers.
- Communication: Excellent oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with staff and customers.
- Flexibility: Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
- Organization: Highly organized, with the ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects.
