Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Insurance Broker Team Lead to join our team in Policy Services. This role will oversee the servicing of both prospective and existing customers, providing expert advice on personal insurance matters and recommending coverage and/or upselling additional products.

Key Responsibilities
  • Interact with customers in a professional, clear, and concise manner, providing exceptional customer service and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Act as an advisor, remaining knowledgeable about products and services offered by companies and the insurance industry as a whole.
  • Assess customer needs, applying sound judgment when reviewing, modifying, and adding coverage to policies while providing protection guidance and advice.
  • Maintain customer/broker relationships by continually assessing customer needs, identifying concerns, recommending solutions, and following up regularly.
  • Take a customer-driven approach, recommending coverages, up-selling, and cross-selling additional appropriate products.
Requirements
  • RIBO license (or obtain within 3 months of start date)
  • Minimum 2 years of progressive experience in administration and services
  • Insurance industry experience preferred but not required
  • Strong customer service skills and focus on service excellence
  • Excellent interpersonal and relationship-building skills
  • Able to complete tasks with high accuracy and attention to detail
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and accountability
  • Solid written and verbal business communication skills
