Job Title: Hotel Front Desk Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Swiss Chalet Motel. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing front desk operations, and supervising a team of front desk staff.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of front desk staff, ensuring excellent guest service and efficient front desk operations.
  • Manage front desk schedules, including staffing, time-off requests, and performance evaluations.
  • Handle guest complaints and resolve issues in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Prepare and submit reports on front desk performance, including guest feedback and staff performance.
  • Assist with training and development of front desk staff, including coaching and mentoring.
  • Maintain accurate records and reports, including guest information and staff performance.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a front desk or customer service role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
Working Conditions:
  • Work in a hotel environment with frequent exposure to guests and staff.
  • Work in a fast-paced environment with frequent interruptions.
  • Ability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Personal Suitability:
  • Client focus and ability to provide exceptional guest service.
  • Dependability and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with staff and guests.
