Hotel Front Desk Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused Hotel Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Swiss Chalet Motel. As a key member of our front desk team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional guest service, managing front desk operations, and supervising a team of front desk staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure seamless guest service delivery
- Establish and maintain work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient front desk operations
- Perform same duties as workers supervised, including checking guests in and out, handling guest complaints, and resolving issues
- Prepare and submit reports on front desk performance, guest feedback, and staff productivity
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Assist clients/guests with special needs, such as providing wheelchair accessibility and arranging special requests
- Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
- Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies
- Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, machinery, and arrange repair work to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery
- Requisition materials and supplies as needed
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a front desk or customer service role
- Permanent position with 30 to 40 hours per week
- Language of work: English
Fast-paced environment with a large workload, requiring attention to detail, flexibility, and ability to work under pressure
