Hotel Front Desk Supervisor Job Description

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Hotel Front Desk Supervisor to join our team at Swiss Chalet Motel. As a key member of our front office team, you will be responsible for ensuring seamless guest experiences and efficient hotel operations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth hotel operations.
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to maximize productivity and efficiency.
  • Perform same duties as workers supervised, including tasks such as resolving work problems and providing technical advice.
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis.
  • Assist clients/guests with special needs and provide exceptional customer service.
  • Co-ordinate, assign and review work to ensure tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Hire and train staff in job duties, safety procedures, and company policies.
  • Maintain operation of computer systems, equipment, and machinery to ensure business continuity and customer service delivery.
  • Requisition materials and supplies as needed.
Requirements:
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 30 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
Work Environment:

This role requires a fast-paced environment with a large workload, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure. The ideal candidate will possess excellent oral communication skills, be organized, and have a client-focused approach.
