About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Construction Manager to oversee the implementation of approved facilities projects related to infrastructure and equipment installation issues for Fraser Health.

Key Responsibilities:

  • ">
  • Establish and lead project teams to ensure successful completion of facilities construction projects;">
  • Develop and manage project plans, budgets, and schedules in collaboration with stakeholders;">
  • Conduct regular construction site inspections to ensure compliance with maintenance requirements and regulatory standards;">
  • Negotiate claims for extra costs arising from contractual issues with contractors;">
  • Authorize and coordinate systems shutdowns affecting campus operations;">
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and commonly accepted standards;">

Requirements:

">

To be successful in this role, you will require a Diploma in Building Technology or Trades Qualification Certificate, plus 7-9 years' recent experience in managing design/construction, mechanical/electrical commissioning, or facilities operations and management. You must also have 5 years' supervisory experience and 2 years' project management experience within a complex healthcare environment.

Salary:

The estimated salary range for this position is CAD $45.46 - $65.35 per hour.
