About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fashion Design Team Lead to join our team at Elite Couture & Fashion Jewelry. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for leading the development of our fashion designs, overseeing the creation of prototypes, and ensuring that our products meet the highest standards of quality and style.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Leadership: Provide creative direction and guidance to junior designers, ensuring that our designs are on-trend, stylish, and meet the needs of our target market.
  • Design Development: Develop and refine design concepts, sketches, and prototypes, working closely with our production team to ensure timely and efficient production.
  • Quality Control: Conduct regular quality checks to ensure that our products meet our high standards of quality, style, and craftsmanship.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor junior designers, providing guidance and support to help them develop their skills and advance in their careers.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research to stay up-to-date on the latest fashion trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activity, using this information to inform our design decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 1 year of experience in a senior design role, with a proven track record of success in leading design teams and developing high-quality designs.
  • Skills: Excellent design skills, with a strong understanding of fashion trends, consumer preferences, and competitor activity. Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire junior designers. Proficient in design software, including Adobe Creative Suite.
