About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Sales Team Lead to join our team at SAM FASHION & DESIGNERS. As a Sales Team Lead, you will be responsible for leading a team of sales staff and overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store.

Key Responsibilities
  • Hiring and Training: Recruit, train, and develop a team of sales staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide excellent customer service.
  • Authorization and Ordering: Authorize payments by cheque and order merchandise as needed to maintain an adequate stock level.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory levels to ensure that stock is accurately recorded and easily accessible.
  • Cash Handling: Manage cash and ensure that all financial transactions are accurately recorded and reported.
  • Payroll Administration: Oversee payroll administration, including ensuring that all staff are paid accurately and on time.
  • Customer Service: Resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Work Schedules: Establish and manage work schedules to ensure that the store is adequately staffed at all times.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a sales or retail environment.
  • Supervision: 1 to 2 people.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Combination of sitting, standing, walking. Ability to distinguish between colours.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client focus, efficient interpersonal skills, excellent oral communication, flexibility, reliability.
