About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Fashion Design Team Lead to join our team at Elite Couture & Fashion Jewelry. As a key member of our design team, you will be responsible for overseeing the creation of our clothing designs, from concept to production.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design Leadership: Provide creative direction and guidance to our design team, ensuring that our clothing designs meet the highest standards of quality and style.
  • Design Development: Develop and prepare design concepts, sketches, and models for approval, taking into account market trends, consumer demand, and competitor activity.
  • Team Management: Supervise and mentor our design team, providing guidance and support to ensure that they have the skills and resources needed to succeed.
  • Quality Control: Oversee the acquisition, fitting, and maintenance of costumes and wardrobes, ensuring that they meet our high standards of quality and style.
  • Market Research: Conduct market research and analysis to determine consumer demand, potential sales volumes, and the impact of competitors' operations on sales.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role, or equivalent experience.
  • Art or Fashion Design Experience: Proven experience in women's, children's, and men's clothing design.
  • Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities: Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a combination of sitting, standing, and walking.
  • Personal Suitability: Accurate, client-focused, flexible, judgemental, organized, reliable, and a team player.
