Brookstreet Hotel, a renowned Ottawa restaurant, spa, conference, and wedding destination, is seeking a talented Guest Service Partner. As a dynamic member of our team, you will redefine the hospitality experience, delivering sensational service that exceeds expectations.


This part-time position requires working 3 shifts per week, with a focus on weekend availability. Key responsibilities include:



  • Previous experience in Hotel Front Office operations is a must.
  • Working towards a College diploma in Hotel Management is an asset.
  • Knowledge of computerized Front Office systems, particularly Opera Cloud, is required.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel is essential.
  • Cash/float handling experience is necessary.
  • Ability to work shift work, including weekends, overnights, and holidays, is a requirement.
  • Strong Guest Service orientation and excellent written and verbal communication skills are essential.
  • Highly organized, results-oriented, and flexible individuals with the ability to work well under pressure are ideal candidates.

Job Responsibilities:



  • Maintain a high level of professionalism in all aspects of job performance.
  • Seek feedback on Guest satisfaction and resolve problems in accordance with Brookstreet Hotel SOPs and philosophy of partner empowerment.
  • Maximize rooms' revenue through liaising with Reservations to maintain continual rate and room inventory integrity.
  • Stay abreast of arrival reports and VIPs to ensure all special requirements are met or exceeded.
  • Know all emergency procedures and general crisis situation management, including fire and emergency procedures.
  • Implement and maintain Guest Service standards.
  • Effectively maximize inventory levels during high occupancy/sold-out nights.
  • Consistently demonstrate a commitment to personal Guest Service excellence and profitability through special duties as assigned.
  • Uphold the highest standard of internal and external customer service at all times.
