Strategic Financial Planner

As a key member of the Product & Supply Chain Financial Planning & Analysis team at Arc'teryx, you will play a pivotal role in driving business growth and optimizing operations. With a focus on supporting cross-functional partners, you will work closely with senior leadership to deliver analytical insights and financial support that drive brand performance.
The Product & Supply Chain FP&A team is responsible for providing critical information to leadership, enabling informed decision-making and strategic prioritization. You will contribute to this effort by developing global seasonal margin targets, partnering with Merchandising, MP&A, Sourcing, and Product Design teams to achieve targets.
Key Responsibilities:
- Developing global seasonal margin targets and collaborating with cross-functional teams to drive achievement
- Leading product margin planning for North America and EMEA by sales channel, with oversight of global product margin
- Creating financial models to enhance forecasting and budgeting of key components of Cost of Sales Variances and their relationship with Cost of Goods Sold
- Managing and forecasting company elimination entries related to intercompany transactions
- Enhancing Cost of Sales Variances reporting to provide better visibility and more accurate cost mapping
- Leading inventory forecasting, working closely with the Global Planning team to understand inventory balances and evaluate against targeted KPIs
- Maintaining weekly and monthly product margin reporting for key stakeholders
- Completing monthly and quarterly corporate reporting, ensuring consistency with Amer (parent company) requirements
- Reviewing month-end financial results and partnering with Accounting to investigate variances
- Serving as a key partner in strategic priorities financial modeling to provide decision analysis support
- Identifying and supporting Gross Margin improvement initiatives, particularly regarding FOB costs

About Your BenefitsWe offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $91,000 - $114,000 per year, plus a bonus program and benefits. Please note that individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education, and/or training.
