Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at A&W Food Service Of Canada Inc. as a Team Lead. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service team, ensuring that our high standards of quality and customer service are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of a team of 5-10 staff members who prepare and portion food.
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures to ensure a safe and healthy work environment.
  • Quality Control and Assurance
    • Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation to ensure efficient inventory management.
    • Ensure that food and service meet our quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Administrative and Reporting
    • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage to inform business decisions.
    • Prepare and submit reports to management, highlighting key performance indicators and areas for improvement.
  • Customer Service
    • Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, ensuring a positive customer experience.
Requirements
  • Education and Experience
    • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Work in a fast-paced environment, standing for extended periods.
    • Attention to detail and ability to multitask in a dynamic environment.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Efficient interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
    • Flexibility and adaptability in a rapidly changing environment.
Working Conditions

35 to 40 hours per week, permanent position.

English is the primary language of communication in this role.
