Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at Junction- Indian Street food. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision
    • Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food
    • Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures
    • Hire and manage food service staff
  • Food Quality and Safety
    • Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards
    • Estimate ingredient and supplies required for meal preparation
  • Operations and Administration
    • Establish methods to meet work schedules
    • Prepare budget and cost estimates
    • Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage
  • Customer Service
    • Address customers' complaints or concerns
    • Prepare food order summaries for the chef
  • Work Environment
    • Work in a fast-paced environment
    • Work under pressure
    • Combination of sitting, standing, walking
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food service establishment
  • Excellent oral communication skills

Working Conditions

This is a permanent position with 35 to 40 hours of work per week. The work language is English.
