We are seeking a highly skilled Data Quality Assurance Specialist to join our Technology team at Arc'teryx Limited. This is an exciting opportunity for a motivated individual to work with our experienced team in North Vancouver, B.C.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate testing activities from preparation to execution for changes in the production ERP (SAP) environment
  • Design and develop Test Plans, Test Cases, Test Scenarios and/or Test Scripts based on requirements for System Integration, Functional, Regression, Performance, and Acceptance Testing
  • Use Agile methodology to develop testing processes to identify errors and issues for bug tracking in business process and document in testing to improve productivity
  • Define and create test automation and best practices, working with automation and performance testing tools at various levels of applications
  • Manage and monitor User Acceptance Testing with key business users
  • Track defects and deficiencies for submission, review, triage and resolution
  • Collaborate with project managers to assess and triage issues or risks, while having a voice on "go/no go" release decisions
  • Ensure systems function according to business requirements and user expectations, by applying strong critical thinking and analytical skills
  • Champion quality guidelines and standards (including QA best practices)
  • Collaborate with teams outside the SAP area to ensure that integration points are tested
  • Work collaboratively with the Test Engineering team in the Technology team to ensure that best practices are being consistently followed, to avoid duplicating effort, and to help champion and implement quality initiatives

About the Role:

  • This role involves collaborating closely with Business Process owners, Product Managers, and the development team to understand requirements and make appropriate use of different tools and techniques
  • You will be primarily responsible for testing the ERP functionality and processes, defining and developing automated tests and exploratory testing

What You Will Need:

  • A bachelor's degree or equivalent certifications in a related technical field
  • 5+ years of recent software QA and Testing experience in application and data validation testing, with experience in SAP Systems
  • Experience with TOSCA and QTEST to automate End-to-End functional testing for ERP Systems
  • 2+ years testing experience with SAP S4/Hana in one or more of SD, CAR, MM, EWM, FI modules
  • Knowledge and experience with JIRA and Confluence
  • Previous experience with black box testing and some white box testing
  • Familiarity with business enterprise applications and business process areas (ie accounting, order entry, inventory management, etc.)
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a keen ability for problem solving
  • Proven organizational skills with the ability to multi-task and manage multiple priorities
  • Exceptional prioritization and multi-tasking abilities, and demonstrated experience meeting strict delivery deadlines
  • Effective time management and prioritization skills
  • Strong oral and written communication skills and excellent command of English

Compensation and Benefits:

We offer a competitive salary range of CAD$80,000 - CAD$100,000 per year, plus a bonus program and benefits package. Within the range, individual pay is determined by factors such as job-related skills, relevant experience, education and/or training.
