**Job Description:** As a Quality Control Specialist at Arc'teryx, you will play a critical role in ensuring the highest quality standards in our finished goods production. You will work closely with local and overseas quality specialists to develop, implement, and monitor effective quality control processes.

**Responsibilities:

  • Develop innovative quality control processes by collaborating with cross-functional teams to establish standardized methods of inspection and process control.
  • Collaborate with product development and product integrity teams to create inspection plans specific to new and existing product types.
  • Visit overseas factories and perform quality control and process audits to ensure compliance with quality standards.
  • Investigate quality failures, perform root cause analysis, and work with QPMs to implement corrective action plans.
  • Manage inspection processes domestically and overseas through our inspection platform.
  • Create inspection workflows to optimize individual QC efficiencies for specific product types and factories.
  • Partner with local and overseas QC managers to develop intelligent inspection planning to optimize QC efficiency.
  • Work with other QC specialists, quality data specialist, and QC manager to understand elements of product quality that have the greatest impact on customer satisfaction.

**Required Skills and Qualifications:**

  • 2+ years' experience in quality control, ideally in the apparel or manufacturing industry.
  • Formal training in quality control methods and best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to audit production facilities' quality processes.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to balance and focus on multiple, overlapping priorities and deadlines without losing sight of the big picture.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Good problem-solving skills and grit to persevere through challenging issues.
  • Experience working in a diverse, cross-cultural team.
  • Honesty and integrity.
  • Able to effectively balance autonomy and collaboration.
  • Passion for getting outside and living an active lifestyle.
