Job Summary:

As a key member of our retail team, the Assistant Store Manager plays a vital role in delivering exceptional customer service and driving sales growth in our The North Face store. This is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and fast-paced environment where you will be responsible for leading daily operations, managing a team of retail staff, and maintaining a high level of product knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead Daily Operations: Oversee the day-to-day activities of the store, including scheduling, payroll, and inventory management.
  • Team Management: Hire, train, and develop a team of retail staff to provide exceptional customer service and drive sales growth.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain up-to-date knowledge of The North Face products, including features, benefits, and technical specifications.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries, resolving issues, and making recommendations.
  • Store Appearance: Maintain a high level of store appearance, including visual merchandising, display maintenance, and ensuring a clean and organized store environment.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Analyze sales data, customer feedback, and other metrics to inform business decisions and drive sales growth.
Requirements:
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; business or retail-related education preferred.
  • Experience: 1-3 years of retail management experience, preferably in a fast-paced environment.
  • Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ability to work in a team environment, and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Availability: Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
