Full Time roles are eligible for the above, plus:

JOB SUMMARY:

Manages all operational functions of a collection of store names, or stores within a geographical location smaller than a region. Oversees store management in attaining maximum profitability and productivity. Implements and maintains company policies for stores within an area. Conducts recruiting, hiring, training, coaching, and appraisals of store management positions. Establishes store level expectations and guidelines. Assists store managers in evaluating sales trends and creates methods for sales growth. Monitors cash flow and inventory controls. A Level II Area Manager typically oversees 10 or more stores.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Oversee all store operations in assigned area on a daily basis
  2. Be a role model and administer company policies and procedures
  3. Establish store level expectations and guidelines
  4. Assist the managers in evaluating sales trends and create methods for sales growth
  5. Monitor inventory control and meet inventory goals
  6. Communicate any ideas or issues with the Regional Manager
  7. Recruit, hire, train and maintain a quality core staff
  8. Manage operational budget striving to achieve and exceed store contribution budget
  9. Remain current on new industry products and trends; demonstrate knowledge of products
  10. Conduct performance appraisals and coach staff on a regular basis
  11. Conduct disciplinary actions as needed
  12. Enforce and train staff on loss prevention policies and techniques
  13. Create a rewarding environment; generate a team atmosphere
  14. Conduct weekly manager meetings to reinforce area, regional, and company goals
  15. Oversee buyer activity for the region
  16. Set goals for all team members
  17. Reward and recognize employees
  18. Approve all expenditures
  19. Monitor profit margins and react as needed
JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Required:

  1. Bachelor's Degree, or equivalent work experience
  2. 5 years multi-store management experience in the retail industry
  3. 5 years of direct supervisory experience
  4. Proficient in MS Office Products; Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint
  5. English fluency
  6. Excellent communications skills both written and verbal
  7. Self-motivated with the ability to multi-task
  8. Ability to organize and prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced sales environment
  9. Knowledgeable of customer service and sales techniques
  10. Organization and planning skills
  11. Strong operational skills in a customer-service environment
  12. Team-building skills
  13. Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information

Preferred:

  1. Retail or Rental store operation/management experience highly preferred
