We are seeking a highly skilled Digital Media Marketing Specialist to join our team at Sterling Homes Edmonton. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive social media strategy that showcases our brand and products across various platforms.

Job Overview

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in digital marketing, with experience in creating engaging content for social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn. You will be responsible for managing our online presence, increasing engagement with our followers, and analyzing content performance using analytics tools.

Your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

  • Creating, editing, and managing content for our company website and social media platforms;
  • Developing and maintaining a content calendar to ensure consistent posting across platforms and alignment with campaigns, events, and seasonal promotions;
  • Customizing content strategies to fit each platform's unique features and audience, ensuring optimal engagement;
  • Visiting show homes and communities to gather information and prepare descriptions, photos, and videos for social media content;
  • Monitoring and analyzing content performance using analytics tools to improve future content creation and reporting results;
  • Creating visual media content, including short and long-form video, to showcase the features, design, and quality of our properties and communities;
  • Interacting with customers and/or audiences via our company website and other digital platforms in a respectful and professional manner;
  • Staying up-to-date with emerging content formats and trends, integrating them into our content strategy;
  • Collaborating with our in-house marketing team members and external agencies or contractors to develop content ideas that increase reach, engagement, and following across multiple social platforms;
  • Assisting our sales team, covering shifts for the online sales team, managing incoming phone calls, and booking show home appointments while providing excellent customer service.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A High School Diploma or equivalent;
  • Previous experience working as a Social Media Coordinator or recent studies related to digital marketing on social media;
  • A valid driver's license and access to a reliable vehicle;
  • Satisfactory verification of a criminal record check;
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, Excel, Teams, SharePoint, and PowerPoint, as well as video editing tools such as Capcut and Adobe Premiere Pro;
  • Proficiency in using and curating content for social media platforms, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, X, and LinkedIn.
What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience, plus benefits, including a company matching RRSP/DPSP program and employee home purchase program.
