About the Role

We are seeking a skilled Physiotherapist to join our team at Alio Health Services. As a Physiotherapist, you will play a vital role in supporting our patients in hospital settings throughout Ottawa.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess patients' physical and functional abilities to identify areas for improvement.
  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans to enhance patients' independence and function.
  • Deliver physiotherapy and rehabilitation interventions using evidence-based approaches and best practices.
  • Provide education and orthoses recommendations to patients and healthcare teams.
  • Prescribe exercises to prevent injuries and promote fitness.
  • Conduct on-site assessments and provide ergonomics education to patients and healthcare teams.
Requirements
  • Graduate of an educational program approved by the Canadian Physiotherapy Association.
  • Current license in good standing with the College of Physiotherapists of Ontario.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in hospital settings.
  • Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset.
Additional Requirements
  • Police Check of the Vulnerable Section.
  • CPR and First Aid - Level C certificate.
  • TB Test/Chest Xray.
  • 2 doses of Covid vaccination.
